Bristol Care is a flexible solution to ensuring that users’ PPE is maintained in a fully serviceable condition throughout its lifetime and can be tailored to suit individual brigade’s operational needs. This can take the form of routine, pre-planned maintenance or inspection, washing and repair on demand.
The inspection, washing and repair, as well as decontamination, service is available for the full range of PPE including fire coats and trousers, hoods, helmets, boots and gloves.
A weekly collection and delivery service is supplemented by on-site minor repair facilities, as required.
An initial PPE sizing exercise ensures good fit whilst stock holding and stock management facilities, as well as brigade personnel training, ensure a fully comprehensive care programme.
