Station Wear and Extra Options
Embodying one of the key features of the ICP – the aim of creating a national identity for fire & rescue services across England – the extensive range of station wear, which forms an important component of the project, is available in grey and red and also navy and red, in a variety of combinations to create a distinct identity for ICP users.
The head-to-toe offering makes this the largest group of products designed for use in operational, control and general roles and is fully flexibility to provide for the different levels of protection needed at different times of the year.
The range, available throughout for males and females, includes shirts, trousers, T-shirts, fleeces and a waterproof coat. Allergy options are also available for individuals for whom man-made fibres can cause allergic skin reactions.
This is just one example of the level of detailed product planning which was undertaken before and during product evaluation, testing and wearer trials. In fact, all the fabrics selected for use in this range have been chosen for their technical performance, whether worn with, or without, PPE.
For comprehensive information about our full range of ICP products refer to our Integrated Clothing Project (ICP) brochure.
