Wildland
Standard EN 15614

Fighting fires in open spaces such as scrubland, heathland and forests demands skills and techniques quite different from those used in structural firefighting. To meet these needs Bristol has designed two types of firefighting garment to provide comfortable, easily cleaned and durable clothing for firefighters who are often required to work over prolonged periods in close proximity to heat and flame.
For full details see our Wildland brochure.
Both wildland firefighting ensembles use a 50/50 Aramid Viscose fabric to provide optimum protection with maximum comfort. One is a coat and trouser combination with a yellow jacket and green or navy trousers. The other is a one piece coverall, available in green/yellow or navy, providing protection against radiant heat and incorporates a double layer fabric from waist level down to protect against sharp thorns and undergrowth.
Both products meet European standards EN 11612 (General Flame) and EN 1149 (Static Properties), have an overall weight of 260 grms and are available in a wide range of sizes.
